Are you struggling right now with personal and worldwide issues? Do you need someone who can listen with a nonjudgmental but discerning ear? Have you come to a place in your personal growth where you need help? Hello, my name is Josh. I am a counselor in Brighton, Michigan. I have spent the last decade learning everything I can to support people on their personal journey. If any of the above describes you or you just need help. Feel free to contact me. During the Covid-19 outbreak, I am working with clients in teletherapy via Doxy.
I specialize in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, difficulties in personal growth, making sense of spiritual experiences, and sexual trauma. I work with individuals, families, couples, and groups of various ages and stages of life in person and via teletherapy.
I practice counseling at the William A. Presti Center for Families and Youth. Our Center works with people, not insurance companies. We charge a flat rate of $68 a session as a base though we try to work with people struggling with financial difficulties. During the Covid-19 outbreak, I am working with clients in teletherapy via Doxy.

#NotAlone (Teen Support and Education Group)

#NotAlone is a group focused on supporting teens who struggle with difficulties such as bullying, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideations, cutting, and LGBT+ issues using a mindfulness-based system rooted in Gestalt Therapy, Existential Therapy, and DBT. This method empowers a teen to see things differently by teaching them to think critically to better assess situations. Each month will focus on a module such as mindfulness, depression, and working with anxiety. Contact me by phone or at josh@wapcenter.org for more details or if you are interested. Cost: $120 per month (Discount for those that pay multiple months in advance).
