Understanding together the reasons and context for your particular behaviors or feelings can help move you towards change, and holding the painful emotions we all carry around with us can be powerfully healing over time. The therapy space is here for us to work towards helping you discover your authentic self and heal.

For people interested in testing, I suggest they try and think of what they are hoping to learn from the testing process as a starting point for our assessment relationship. Together, we then refine these questions and collaboratively seek to answer them using well researched and validated psychological testing measures.

I ground my treatment approach in a self psychological treatment perspective. I find this theory speaks to my belief that we are striving towards health in the best way we know how. Sometimes we just need some help and understanding to discover a better way of reaching the health and life we hope to achieve.
