I strive to develop and sustain a confidential and safe environment where you feel comfortable dealing with intense emotions. I believe there are no issues too small, and no emotions too large that would discourage me from jumping into the trenches to help you sort out all that you may be wrestling with.
Open Water Counseling uses different techniques and methods such as DBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Gottman Method, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing to bring about client change. Therapy methods are evidence based and tailored to individual/family needs through biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plans built in collaboration with each patient.
My main goal is build the therapeutic relationship because in that place of trust and acceptance, change can happen. I understand what it means to struggle and am not exempt from being human. It is truly an honor to walk alongside you, and assist in your pursuit of all that you desire for your life.
