I am excited to work with clients of any population. As a veteran, I have experience working with the military, substance abuse, PTSD, and anxiety. My current areas of interest include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, personality disorders, and family or couples therapy. I also have a particular passion for working with adolescents and young adults struggling with behavioral problems and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as working with issues of anger management.
I feel the most important focus for mental health is the self. We all experience our reality and ourselves in a unique way. In order to make a change, it is important to recognize what we can control and how to best make the changes we need in order to better navigate our lives.
One of the most important aspects of therapy is an environment where you can be open about your experiences, feelings, and thoughts without fear of judgment.
