Dr. Landis has worked with a range of severe psychiatric illnesses including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, intellectual disabilities, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders, PTSD, and eating disorders. Dr. Landis has extensive experience working with both adolescent and adult inpatient populations who struggle with severe suicidal ideation or attempts, self-harm behaviors, violent or aggressive behaviors, interpersonal conflict, marital problems, grief issues, and co-occurring substance abuse.
Dr. Landis specializes in providing psychoeducation specifically geared toward stress and anger management, impulse control, emotional regulation, positive reframing, developing coping skills, and enhancing general personal awareness (via examining the patient's internal versus external locus of control).
Josh works collaboratively with clients to help them address their presenting concerns and improve their quality-of-life and overall wellbeing. He works to individualize each client's unique treatment needs, while helping them own their goals, treatment, changes, and progress.
