I specialize in adolescents, young adults & parenting. My main areas of expertise are processing information challenges (as defined by rigid thinking, stress sensitive, disorganized, "not getting it", struggles with change/transitions, & social struggles), anxiety, depression, ADHD, attachment/adoption, trauma & problematic pornography viewing. I help clients build resilience in their lives to more effectively face their challenges & take an active approach when needed with experiential therapy (going for a walk, jog, hike or bike ride--depending on the need & value to help the client progress and grow). EMDR trained.

I seek to help those suffering from depression find ways to reduce suicidal ideation while strengthening their desire to live. I help replace addictive behaviors with shame reduction while looking at root causes contributing to the addictive behaviors. I help parents better understand their teens as well as provide effective, principle-based consequences.
