I specialize in working with people who have experienced a variety of traumas, feel stuck or powerless to their emotions, and can't escape beliefs of low-self worth. In particular, I have a passion working with men, but also women, who want to break self-defeating cycles in their relationships, process religious experiences or trauma, or may be questioning to shifting their understanding of their sexuality. I want to help people feel safe in relationships, reduce overwhelming emotions, and let go of painful experiences from the past.

Thor often joins people on the couch during session, although he doesn't have to (this is your session not his), many people find him comforting.

To help clients regain a sense of safety, foster harmony with their emotions, and learn to love themselves (and others) again. I am basic trained in EMDR and participate in on-going learning and training in this modality. I also utilize IFS or "Parts Work" to help people process trauma and explore their inner worlds to reconnect with themselves safely.
