When my clients come to me, they may recognize that something isn't quite right, and often are not sure what that "something" might be. They may have a mixed relationship with their past and struggle to integrate their experiences into a clear picture of their place in the world, or even to imagine a world where they can flourish. Sometimes they are aware of the specific traumas that have affected them, and sometimes all they know is struggle. My clients meet me with enough hope and courage to hold that first session, and I am privileged to walk with them from there.
I am a Certified Clinical Traumatologist and Licensed Professional Counselor (Mental Health Service Provider) in TN. I am not just "trauma-informed," I treat trauma. I work with individuals, couples, and children to explore what lies beneath the symptoms or diagnosis and heal the wounds inflicted upon their hearts and minds.
