Groups
Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse
An ongoing support group for adult male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The group is built on empowerment, neuroscience, coping skills, psycho-education about trauma and its impact on the brain and body. Group members will understand the ways trauma influences their relationships, sexuality, masculinity, trust, and worldviews. The group emphasizes reciprocity and focuses on a shared history of trauma while supporting unique, individual experiences. The primary goals of this group are to help individuals begin to feel safe, restore a relationship with self and others, learn how to regulate their own physiology, and learn to live in the present.
