I am a mental health practitioner, or psychotherapist, who has been serving the North Carolina community for several years. I have clinical experience working with individuals facing many different mental health challenges, including those who have endured trauma,(physical, sexual, and emotional; childhood and adult), those dealing with the ramifications of narcissistic abuse, and those living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, other mood disorders, OCD, ADHD, substance use disorders, and personality disorders. I have experience working with individuals who serve or have served in the armed forces.
I am trained/informed in CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR therapy, IFS therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness techniques, and psychodynamic psychotherapy models. In practice, I use an integrated approach to psychotherapy; I meet each patient where they are at with acceptance, validation, and understanding to build a working relationship in which change can take place.
