Josh Weed's Groups
Grief and Loss
Human beings experience loss as one of their deepest traumas. Our society is not well equipped to help with grief over loss, and many people don't have a good template for processing grief. This group sensitively explores a curriculum that helps its members to grieve the loss of loved ones, lost relationships, and the close of life-eras. In grieving loss, group members find healing and connection, and are able to acclimate to the new normal that must be created in the wake of death, disease, or abrupt change.
Weight Loss and Healthy Living
Diets and fads come and go, and often people find great success, only to lose track of their goals and gain weight again (sometimes even more than they lost), leading them to lose hope and feel more unhealthy than ever. If this sounds familiar to you, this group might be for you. This group is designed to address the emotional underpinnings that govern nutrition, allowing you to feel healthy and love-able at any weight. This allows for your body, fitness, and nutrition to find gradual congruence with who you ARE, bringing a lifestyle/weight shift with health that lasts.
