About
My passion is to work with people facing difficult challenges to get them closer to the life they want. I work from a strength-based perspective, building on the talents, skills and abilities that you already have. I'm comfortable employing an eclectic range of technique and theory, but in the end, we will work together to find a form of therapy that works for you.
We all get lost. We all get stuck. I feel that our job is to discover and work towards the life you want. It has been my privilege to work with clients facing a variety of daunting challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, relationship, gender and sexual-identity issues, loss and bereavement, and anger management.
I use a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral and mindfulness techniques, with an emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I fit my approach to the individual person in front of me, based on the principle of doing what works.
