Education and experience: I earned my Master's degree in Counseling, with a Clinical Mental Health Counseling concentration from Montclair State University. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor, as well as a National Certified Counselor. As a Licensed Associate Counselor, I have gained extensive experience working in different settings and with different diagnoses, providing various populations different therapeutic interventions, based on client needs.
My counseling experience started while working as a Case Manager for an outpatient Partial-Care Program, providing mainly group therapy, including orchestrating psycho-education and processing groups for a client population that includes diagnoses such as Mood and Personality disorders, as well as Schizophrenia.
I then transitioned to providing individual therapy for a diverse population, including working with children, adolescents and adults, at a non-profit community agency.
