I believe everyone has the power to change and improve their lives, no matter what the situation. As a counselor, it is my job to help people realize their potential and assist them in making the changes they wish to achieve. Using a blend of cognitive behavioral, EMDR, existential, and gestalt techniques, I help clients develop coping skills, identify problematic thinking patterns and behaviors, and improve their emotional well being. My office is a safe, warm, welcoming environment. I am non-judgmental, and respectful of my clients' beliefs and lifestyles. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist.
My clients are adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of obstacles, including: sadness, anxiety, trauma, obsessive compulsive disorder, low self esteem, anger, substance abuse, relationship issues, communication issues, chronic medical problems and disabilities, work and school-related problems, and stress.
