Josh Gressel
Psychologist, PhD
There are points in life where you may ask yourself if the path you're on is leading you where you need to be going. You may be asking yourself questions like:
"Is this the best I can expect from my marriage?"
"Is this what I'm supposed to be doing with my life?"
"Is the work I'm doing the work I was born to be doing?"
I will work with you both to get answers to these questions and to more fully accept the answers you receive.
The theory and methodology I use to work with couples is called Imago Relationship Therapy. I believe Imago theory is the most profound explanation for why we first fall in love and then struggle with the very person we once loved so fully.
I enjoy working with religiously involved people on their psychological issues so they can worship God more fully. It is okay to talk about God in my office and to discuss your spiritual path as part of your work with me.

Josh Gressel's Groups
Imago couples' group
Couples often present an "everything's beautiful" façade to the world, hiding their struggles and their incompatibilities. This causes a strain to the couple and leaves many feeling a sense of isolation, as if something is wrong with their relationship for having the struggles they do when everyone else seems so happy. A couples' group breaks this sense of isolation. It is place where it is safe to be real in your relationship with your partner — in front of other people. A couple's group is a community of couples committed to conscious relationship.
