My approach for therapy is to assist you on your journey of self-exploration while uncovering and addressing patterns that may be hindering your progress and relationships. Gaining self-awareness through therapy helps us understand our own needs, emotions, and patterns of behavior. This helps us communicate better and set healthy boundaries. When we are aware of our strengths and vulnerabilities we can navigate conflict more easily, avoid projecting insecurities onto others, and foster deeper connections.
My therapeutic approach draws from a foundation in Person-Centered therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic therapy. I am deeply committed to providing LGBT+affirming care, which means I am resolute in validating and supporting the distinctive needs of this community.
