About
My practice is dedicated to help children, teens and adults acknowledge and heal from wounds - not the "Band Aid" ones, but the kind that leave an imprint on your heart and psyche. Trauma and grief can be overwhelming, and can emanate from many different sources (death, violence, abandonment, relationship issues). I also work with children and teens to develop the coping skills necessary to grow and mature, especially as they deal with grief, anxiety, violence, and school related stress. The 'trickle down effect' of these issues is devastating - affecting how children learn, their social relationships, and self image.
I work with my clients to 'own' and take responsibility for their treatment. They are active, not passive participants. I provide a supportive atmosphere where we can face these issues at your pace. You are not on this journey by yourself.
