Life hands all of us difficult moments and experiences that don't always get the attention they deserve. Too often, we're called to keep going without giving ourselves enough time to process what happened. This can lead to increased stress and reactivity, trouble focusing, emotional responses that feel out of proportion, indecision, and a sense of disconnection from the flow of life. Therapy offers a place to slow down, to process what's happened or what's happening now, to find support in navigating challenging experiences, and to move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
I help clients grow closer to themselves by reflecting on their experiences (thoughts, feelings, behaviors, patterns, relationships, values, and beliefs) as we move toward their goals in treatment. I have a special interest in stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, addiction, shame, identity, motivation, relationships, couples, and men's issues.
