Hi, I'm Joe Ropelewski. I specialize in working with people with a history of trauma, struggles with relationships, anger, depression and anxiety. My approach is centered around helping you leverage your strengths, ensuring that you receive personalized and compassionate care. In our first few sessions, you can expect to explore how and when the problem presents itself, and what has and has not worked in the past. YOU are the expert on yourself!
My practice is unique because I approach each client as exceptional and having their own set of beliefs, challenges and strengths. Therapy is not "cookie-cutter" or one size fits all...what works for others may NOT work for you. I believe in creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe exploring your thoughts and emotions.
I am passionate about this work because I personally understand the hopelessness of depression and anxiety, having struggled with it myself. I strive to learn what makes you unique, and how we can use that to help you navigate your challenges and achieve personal growth.
