I am a clinical psychologist who has been practicing for about 25 years. I am very invested in the work I do and I believe my clients feel that from me. I work with people in a compassionate, nonjudgmental way. I am currently a candidate at the NYU Postdoctoral Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. My practice is on the Upper West Side and I am treating people in person and via telehealth. I see people for assessments, in individual therapy as well as couples therapy. I also run a group (see below).
I am open to working with a variety of issues. A lot of my work has been with people who misuse substances. I have also done a great deal of therapy and writing about gay men who use methamphetamine. I work with clients with mood disorders, relationship issues. However, I also work with LGBT clients.
I am very dedicated to my work and my clients feel my investment in them. I am open to feedback and our working collaboratively. I have been running a group for gay and bisexual men who want to address their substance use issues and the way they connect to identity, sex, internalized homophobia, and other issues.

Substance Use Group for Gay and Bisexual Men
I am currently running a weekly psychotherapy group for gay and bisexual men who want to explore their relationship to substance use and its connection to sex, identity, internalized homophobia, and other issues. The group would be supportive and allow participants to create and work on their own goals. I am an Aetna and UMR provider and members can be self pay. I have run similar groups for over 15 years.
