I am a clinical psychologist with over 43 years of clinical experience. I specialize in conducting psychological evaluations of people of all ages for a variety of reasons. I also perform therapy with clients of from all age groups as well as couple's and family therapy. Given my extensive experience, there are very few cases that cause me to hesitate to accept. As such, I have dealt with people with the full array of psychological disorders. Holistic in orientation, I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote optimal health,including cognitive therapy, behavior-modification, and clinical hypnosis.
At Stankus Psychological Services, P.C., the patient is treated as a unique, whole individual and not merely as a case with a disorder. As such, each client is evaluated at not only the emotional level, but also at the physical, social, and spiritual levels to formulate a holistic approach.
Because I have served as an active-duty in the U.S. Air Force (AF) for 13 years, & an additional nearly 11 years on an AF base, both times as a clinical psychologist, I had the opportunity to work with patients from all socioeconomic levels, many different parts of the country, and from many countries. Additionally, I've had 22 + years in private practice.
