Much of human behavior is arguably the product of psychological adaptations we experienced throughout evolution, which helped us survive in ancestral environments. Perhaps the answer to many of your questions can be found in this theory, and your understanding of it can lay the foundation of a breakthrough work in our therapy session. Why does the origin of your problem matters? Primarily because many of the issues you are facing today may be connected to past experiences or traumas in your life, but also because we will need this information to design of a plan that will help us identify, confront and resolve those issues.

Your initial assessment will help me understand what is going on before we can design a structured plan that fits your current needs. You will learn about your human nature while achieving stability and exploring the sources of your stress and struggles. Together, we will learn to confront your fears and troubles and evoke the person you really are.

This is an opportunity to learn about the power your brain exert over your thoughts, emotions and actions. Psychotherapy is not just talk therapy so let's use it to regain control and make your existence in this world meaningful again. If money is an issue, call or text me to schedule a consultation and discuss potential solutions to your problems.

Despues te procesarás tus valores y luchas, mientras simultaneamente enfrentas tus miedos y traumas.

The goal of this approach is to increase your confidence, self-esteem and sense of inner personal power or OK'ness. You will cultivate cognitive awareness and learn mindfulness techniques to address your daily lifestyle. PAAM is neuroplasticity-in-action, meaning that the more connections between neurons are formed, the more we grow and develop. As those connection get stronger, the less we have to think about what we're doing... even during adulthood.
