Well, I am a Black and American Indian therapist raised on a reservation in Northern Nevada. I am also a US Navy Veteran, who has counseled multiple people from all different ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with a client centered approach. This type of therapy will focus on how emotions are linked to behaviors and what steps are needed to alter emotional reactions.
