I specialize in working with adults and young adults who carry old emotional wounds. These wounds can manifest in different ways: difficulty setting boundaries, a tendency to "people-please", difficulty maintaining friendships and romantic relationships, a persistent sense of not being understood, or even just an old, deep feeling of sadness that's hard to name.
My approach is psychodynamic. In practice, this means I listen closely both to what you say and what you don't say. As you tell your story, I'll be listening for old repeating patterns that you may be carrying from the past. My goal is to help you understand yourself well enough to build a life that is deeper, more steady, and more satisfying.
