About
Hi, my name is Joe. I have nearly 30 years of counseling experience working with the developmentally disabled, the elderly, and students. My specific treatment areas include depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, anger control, and impulse control disorders. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavioral analysis, grief therapy, family therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). The care I provide is based on my experience and knowledge of providing these services for nearly 30 years. I believe that I can help you with my experience.
My therapeutic style is direct, warm, and affirming, and I will provide a supportive environment for your therapeutic process. Successful care and progress for you are when you achieve your treatment goals, eliminate or decrease symptoms, and improve your overall mental health. Let me know what is happening in your life, and I will help you.
My first session with you will involve establishing rapport, gathering background information, completing a mental status exam, and determining your diagnosis. You can expect that I will advocate for you and work diligently with you to achieve your treatment goals. I welcome you to reach out and get started today!
