We all experience great changes during our lives, evolutions in identity, shifts in how we see ourselves and how others see us. I excel at working with those who are moving through times of transition, whether pursuing an educational goal, grappling with a life changing medical diagnosis, or beginning to explore themselves after releasing a long-held identity. Through reflection and dialogue we can understand and make meaning of our journey. I am passionate about supporting lifelong seekers—people who yearn to understand themselves on a deeper level.
As a Seattle native, I have seen the substantial changes the city has undergone and as it has changed, I have changed with it. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I found a sense of identity speaking to others as a stand-up comedian. As invigorating as performing is, I felt a longing to connect with people on a deeper level.
I believe in the power of psychotherapy and the impact it can have on an individual's life. I offer insights without prescription or judgment, always offering space and empowering clients to be the driver of their own change.
