I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with fifteen years of clinical experience. I completed my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and my Master's degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Family Systems Theory, at Saint Louis University. I understand that clients are the experts of their own lives and join with clients to determine treatment goals. I work throughout the time we have together focusing on helping those I serve achieve emotional balance.
I have a desire to work with individuals, couples, and families in the outpatient counseling setting. I specialize in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in the following treatment areas: Depression, Bipolar Disorder, grief, behavioral issues, self-esteem, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma.
I use a strengths based approach to working with the people I serve. I believe in peoples ability to make positive changes that can improve their lives I offer evening and weekend appointments to accommodate scheduling needs. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
