My ideal client would be someone whom is open to change. Notice I stated open, because change can be difficult but it is necessary for growth. I have been working with with all type of populations ranging from preadolescents to the elderly. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I do not accept children as clients, only due to my lack of training. I have had experience with anxiety related issues, addiction issues, and relational issues. I have seen many individuals with self-esteem related issues as well.
I am inclined to lean more towards Psychodynamic, Narrative, Biblical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy styles. I am experienced in the these styles and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am proficient in Spanish and this asset has been in much demand. As well I am a Christian who has had several years of Biblical teaching and studies incorporated in my belief system. Clients can expect in a session to feel safe, not judged, shamed, or guilt. This will only stop transparency and truth.
