About
Is anxiety or depression holding you back or pushing you around? Or, do you feel helpless as you watch your teenager struggle, losing touch with what was once most important to them? Are worries or self-criticisms leaving you feeling exhausted, disconnected, and missing out on what once mattered most to you? I understand this struggle. My work focuses on helping individuals learn the skills to take back their life. But, I believe in going beyond just treating the symptoms on the surface - I want to help you get back in touch with what is truly meaningful and important in your life, and to be the best and most authentic you.
I am trained in exposure and response prevention, considered the gold standard in treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I am also a certified crisis worker and have extensive, specialized training in working with thoughts of suicide and self-harm. I have a toolbelt full of practical skills to help my clients take back their lives.
I received my Bachelor of Science in psychology from Texas A&M, then earned my Master of Science in counseling from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. I have training and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with a variety of issues. I am here to collaborate with you to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
