Dr. Joe is the Clinical Director for a Group of MH/SA professionals. "We are extra-ordinary professionals because we care for our patients with respect and passion.". We have extensive training in mental health / substance abuse services (assessment, treatment & prevention). I hold a PhD degree in Counseling Psychology. Credentials : MAC - Master of Addiction Counselor (National), LCAS - Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and CCS - Certified Clinical Supervisor (NCSAPPB Certifications) and SAP - Substance Abuse Professional (USDOT Certificate). International Certifications : ICAADC & ICCS (ICRC). Populations served : young adults & older adults. We have experiences & trainings in Social work.
I have trained MH/SA counselors at agencies within the State of North Carolina. I worked at Duke University Addiction Program (research program funded by NIH).
