About

My practice primarily serves military veterans, service members, first responders, and other persons who are struggling with emotional, relational, and/or spiritual issues related to trauma, loss, and addiction. I rely heavily on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and other empirically supported approaches. I also believe that spirituality and/or religious faith can provide powerful sources of strength and suffering in the healing process. As such, I enjoy assuming a holistic approach according to my clients' core beliefs/values in a manner that ultimately leads to greater meaning, purpose, and belonging in life.
I am Clinical Director of Veterans Recovery Resources, a community-based organization offering compassionate, evidence-based, inter-disciplinary, and trauma-informed behavioral health care to persons struggling to heal from trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. VRR offers in-person and telehealth sessions to all persons.
I am committed to tailoring my approach based on my clients' needs/values and available research evidence. I appreciate the importance of "goodness of fit" when choosing a therapist. If you are interested in working with me, we will first get to know one another and collaborate to determine the ideal approach within our team at Veterans Recovery Resources.
