I am licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a decade of experience working as a counselor. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology for University of Texas-Austin and my Master of Arts in Psychology from University of Houston Clearlake. I believe that we all have the potential toward growth and optimization when we have and use the necessary tools, alongside patience, to face and overcome life’s challenges. My goal is to encourage you as you navigate through the process of self discovery, acceptance, and change.
I work with both children and adults who experience depression, anger management issues, addictions, co-dependency, traumatic experiences or are just dealing with what life throws at them in general (i.e., lots and lots of curve balls). My primary theoretical approaches are DBT and CBT. I also have completed Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman Method training.
I have found that having someone there to listen and walk with you through difficult moments can be monumental. This is where I come in. Whether its enhancing or gaining new coping skills, weighing options, or just being there to hear you out when you feel at a loss, I have you.
