I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who treats a wide range of mental health issues in adults. I have over 30 years of experience as a professional counselor, clinical supervisor, and administrator. My background includes serving as the Director of Substance Abuse Services for the Arlington County Department of Human Services in Arlington, Virginia. I've also worked as a consultant to the United States Navy providing training and clinical supervision services to counselors in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and have provided workshops on mental health, substance abuse, and counseling-related topics.
I completed my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from Virginia Polytechnic University. I hold the Preceptor of the Year Award from the Danya Institute, 2012. Through counseling, I help clients find their way to emotional freedom so they can experience the life they intended to live with regard to relationships and mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.
I seek to counsel and encourage those struggling in areas of life or feel their growth has halted. I use insight and compassion to work with clients and co-create plans for their desired life. My goal is to provide support and feedback to resolve problems and gain satisfaction. I help people find or reconnect to their inner spiritual strength and resolve.
