I seek to help clients find a greater range of freedom, creativity, and sense of possibility in their lives. I prioritize creating a space in which you will feel safe and thoughtfully engaged. Through the unique therapeutic relationship we establish, we will work to better understand the patterns and contexts that underlie your feelings, behaviors, and symptoms. I have advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. My therapeutic stance is gentle, accepting, and curious.
I work with adults of all ages, including college students, on a wide range of concerns. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, relationship and family concerns, as well as identity-related issues. In addition, I assist clients with major life transitions (e.g., identity, relationships, family and life stages, careers).
I highly value working with people with diverse gender, sexual, racial, and socioeconomic/class identities and backgrounds. I have contributed to and presented research on the factors that lead to change in psychotherapy. I have also worked on policy efforts to improve community support services for individuals experiencing mental illness.
