I am Dr. Joseph Banken, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) with over 30 years of experience in military, academic, and clinical settings. I embody a compassionate approach to treating men's issues, mood disorders, stress, depression, anxiety, and the adjustment challenges of life. I offer counseling and talk therapy services; however, I do not currently provide psychological testing.
I completed my Ph.D. at The University of Southern Mississippi and a clinical psychology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical School. As a military veteran and former medical school professor, I draw on a diverse background to offer effective care. I use evidence-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness.
