When certain parts of our life feel out of control, it creates stress can impact many areas of our life. Seeking help can feel like a chore. Not only do you have to find a therapist that feels like a good fit, but you have to tell your story to a stranger. I know all of this, and I want to make it feel easy, productive, and worth your time. I enjoy helping all people, but some of my refined interests include traumatic stress, attachment injuries (vast experience working with adoptees and their families), SUD's, and life transitions. I work with adults, teens, kids, couples and families.

Because each individual is unique, I draw from an eclectic approach of modalities; narrative therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, Emotion–Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, motivational interviewing, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Through my practice, I lean on curiosity, empathy, and trust.

I will be intentional in my use of these values as we get to know each other. I am committed to meeting people where they are at, in an effort to create an environment where people feel safe enough to be vulnerable and push themselves towards growth.
