With 20 years of experience working in the helping profession with children, adolescents, families and adults and the last 11 years serving as a licensed professional counselor, I am able to accurately and effectively evaluate and treat most issues arising within each of these groups and across multiple settings. I have a Master of Science degree and a Specialist in Education degree in Professional Counseling. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral, and Experiential Therapy approaches when working with individuals and families.
I have advanced training and certification through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Additionally, I have significant experience working with detained and high risk youth in multiple settings including juvenile detention centers and intensive outpatient programs.
