Joseph A. George, MD
Safe Affordable Opiate Detox
We specialize in the treatment of opiate addiction and dependence. Patients are unable to stop using opiates because of withdrawals. Suboxone is NOT used to detox our patients. Instead a Bridge device is applied around the ear to reduce the opiate withdrawals significantly. Four days later after not using opiates a Naltrexone implant is placed to block the opiate receptor or Vivitrol injection could be used. We detox Heroin, Oxycodone, Fentanyl, Percocet, Norco, Suboxone, Methadone and all prescription pain killers. After care is provided by the treating physician. Insurance does not cover this treatment. Financing is available.
Board Certfied Addictionologist
Our board certified addictionologist Dr. George has been practicing addiction medicine and opiate detox treatment followed by Naltrexone maintenance therapy effectively for 10 years. Evaluation includes medical and psychiatric co-occurring disorders before the treatment to maximize the outcome for each patient. Psychotherapy is recommended after our treatment.
Naltrexone Implant For Relapse Prevention
Naltrexone is a FDA approved medicine, blocks the opioid receptor and reduces cravings. We prefer the Naltrexone implant for 2 months. Relapse prevention for opiates is achieved with Naltrexone maintenance therapy, psychotherapy and 12-step. Please call us to start this treatment to overcome your opiate dependence/addiction.
