The conflicts and problems associated with living in this difficult world start in childhood and persist into adult life. Effective treatment enables patients to free themselves of the chronic unhappiness and dissatisfaction that have been too long part of their lives. This requires the special training and experience that I have acquired in my professional life. And, it requires a patient who is prepared to change.
I work with troubled young people and adults who are struggling in their academic, professional, and personal lives. I also treat in an outpatient setting the various addictions that damage the lives of young people and adults alike in today's world. I also provide treatment for painful troubled marriages.
I have completed extensive psychoanalytic training. Additionally, I have been a Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor for over 25 years. My practice experience is quite varied and spans a period of over thirty-five years.
