The most common challenges that I work with are depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and work stress. I stay up-to-date with the latest studies (especially neuroscience) to provide the best care possible. My main approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Positive Psychology (optimizing functionality)
Professional Life? I gained valuable experience at reputable institutions such as New York Presbyterian Hospital and Montefiore Health System (New York). In California, I was the Director of the Behavioral Health Department at Salinas Valley Health. Personal Life? I enjoy boxing, playing golf, going for runs with my husky, and going to the beach!
The first appointment is a thorough interview in order to get to know you. I will ask about upbringing/childhood, family, education, occupation, hobbies, social life, and psychiatric history.
