I'm glad that you have decided to give therapy a chance and work towards your self-development! My name is Jose and I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. I've been in the field for over 15 years working with Adults and Adolescents and I understand the obstacles and intricacies of seeking out support for one's mental health. While it certainly is not an easy feat, it is one that you will be glad that you set out to accomplish once you make it out on the other side.
I specialize in treating mood disorders, depression and anxiety in high-performing individuals across the life spectrum.
I take the mental well-being of my clients seriously, so I do my best to stay current with evidence-based treatments and other resources. I then implement them into my practice to increase your chances of success and to feel empowered to overcome your barriers.
I also truly enjoy working with all sorts of different folks, including my LGBTQ+ community. I also value a multicultural approach as I believe that our mental health can also be influenced by systemic factors, such as race, sexual orientation, gender, socioeconomic status, etc.
