I am delighted you found me here on Psychology Today. My ideal client comes from many different walks of life - children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. My ideal client is looking for change and a therapist that is going to "shoot straight" with them and do more than just nod their head in agreement. My ideal client is looking for direction and change in their lives and wants a partner in change. I work with my ideal client on anxiety, major depression, trauma, couples counseling, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional-defiant disorder (ODD), and substance abuse, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
My specialties include working with children, anxiety, depression and trauma issues. I consider my treatment approach to be eclectic and tailor evidence-based plans to meet the needs of my clients. I like to draw on elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Mindfulness Therapy.
I look forward to working with you. Let's walk together down the path of healing and recovery. You have learned more about me here which is the first important step in getting help. Now is the time to take the next step and to contact me by phone or email. Let's discuss getting you the help you deserve!
