I am a bilingual/bicultural (English and Spanish speaking) Psychologist with 15 years of experience, with a primary focus on psychological and emotional wellness. I offer individual, family and couples therapy. My strategy is to utilize an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a range of techniques and theories that best meet the particular and unique needs of the clients I serve. By creating collaborative relationships with my clients, I can help facilitate changes in people's lives that in turn, help them maintain healthy personal and professional relationships.
Given my bicultural background, I understand firsthand how culture impacts a person's understanding and interaction with the world around them. Through therapy, I can help people identify and manage individual stressors, both from a cultural perspective and from a personal one as well. In addition, holding my own bicultural identity enables me to help parents and children who are up against generational and cultural conflicts to gain an understanding of each other so that they can continue to form positive family relationships.
