The decision to participate in psychotherapy and the selection of a therapist can be difficult. Given the nature of the therapeutic process, it is imperative to work with a professional that you trust. In a safe and confidential environment, I collaborate with patients to decrease distress, examine concerns and negative thought patterns, and develop adaptive strategies to improve overall functioning. I have extensive experience treating female and male patients with long-standing concerns such as anxiety or depression. For others, they have situational difficulties resulting from events such as death or divorce.
Additionally, I conduct psychological evaluations, including matters related to federal criminal and immigration court, juvenile dependency court, and sexual harassment, ensuring the production of a comprehensive report in a timely manner. As necessary, I consult with an attorney regarding complex legal considerations and provide courtroom testimony.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California and a Doctor of Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. I am bilingual and offer all services in English and Spanish.
