Do you really see me?" If this is how you feel, you’re not alone. Many couples come to me with this challenge and what they’re struggling with is being understood beneath the surface.
In couples therapy, I help you move past the content (who, what, why of the fight) and get to the context; the emotions, experiences, and unmet needs underneath. Together, we slow things down and create a space where each person can really listen, and share.
In our work, you’ll learn how to recognize your patterns, repair when things go wrong, and reconnect in ways that feel safe. My goal isn’t to change who you are; it’s to help you understand yourself and your partner more fully so you can build a relationship filled with curiosity and intentionality.
Particular specialties for couples and family therapy based off of experience include: Poly/open relationships, LGBTQIA+, ADHD and Neurotypical dynamics, co-parenting challenges, and core wounds/attachment struggles from trauma.
