Imagining my ideal client could looks a few different ways: I love to support young children who are experiencing behavioral issues at home and in school. This includes supporting children on the Autism Spectrum with developing social skills; as well as supporting children through friendship problems and ADHD management. I also have a passion for helping clients work through trauma through the use of EMDR. I love to spread the word and educate about this amazing modality, and would love to talk with you about it!

I am a licensed professional counselor in training who graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Superior with her Masters of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health. I am also a certified practitioner in EMDR, and I am passionate about treating PTSD both in children and adults. I have significant experience working with children aged 6-18.

Types of Therapy

The main therapy types that I uses include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, as well as person centered therapy. EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) is a seven step process, including history gathering, development of coping skills, and eventually bilateral stimulation (guided eye movements, or tapping on either side of the body) to remain centered and grounded to process trauma.
