I became a therapist to support individuals through life’s changes and challenges as we journey through childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. I strive to increase access to mental health for all individuals and believe representation of all identities is important in this field. I strive to create a safe and inviting space in session where we can process the feelings that come with life's changes and stressors all while working together to collaborate on realistic solutions. Working with me, no two sessions will be the same. I understand that as times change, so do our needs and my flexibility will reflect that.
My area of expertise is working with adolescents and young adults facing life adjustments, anxiety, and depression, especially people of color. I am a firm believer in a culturally responsive and competent approach within my practice. I Identify as a Black Man. I am self aware of the identities that I hold within the spaces I operate.
I hope my clients get a feeling of validation for their authentic experiences. The benefits of therapy are incredible.
