About

I recognize the courage it takes to be vulnerable and open your heart up to the process of healing. As a trauma-informed counselor, it's my sincere goal to foster a therapeutic environment rooted in safety, acceptance, and compassion. Our fast-paced society constantly bombards us with messages that tell us we aren’t good enough, smart enough, or worthy of love and acceptance for who we are. You may have even heard these same messages in your home growing up, which reinforced these beliefs and left parts of you feeling unseen, unheard, and unloved. The truth is that you are enough as you are, you are worthy, and you are not alone.
I collaborate with individuals experiencing a spectrum of mental health concerns. My training and on-going work center around addressing various forms of trauma, depression, and anxiety. Together, we can slow your life down, uncover deeper patterns and wounds, and take meaningful action to integrate new ways of being.
I unequivocally believe you are capable of healing emotional wounds, forming healthy relationships, overcoming painful memories, and making decisions that move your life in the direction you desire. You are worthy of help, love, and the life you wish to lead. It would be my honor to join you on this transformation.

Jordan Sanders's Groups

Living with HIV Support Group

This is a 1-hour weekly processing group to discuss topics related to living with HIV and associated stressors. It is an open-ended group that does not require a long-term commitment, but clients will find the most benefit from weekly attendance. This is a safe space for those diagnosed with HIV to come share their experience, receive feedback from group members, and experience support from those who understand.
