Hi and welcome! For starters, reaching out for help isn’t easy, so if you’re here, I commend you. It takes courage and bravery to ask for help! I am a believer that relationships heal, but also realize that often our closest relationships can cause a lot of pain. If you’re dealing with past hurts, difficulty with trust, trying to measure up, and struggling to communicate, I am here to help. How we view ourselves, others, and the world influences how we navigate day to day life and can leave us feeling stressed, overwhelmed, sad, down, hopeless, and uncertain about the future.
I often tell my clients that these emotions are powerful tools and give them the tools to harness that power. With past experience working in youth ministry and family social work, I love to see the “ah hah” moments with my clients as they begin to understand and get excited about exactly who God made them to be and how this transforms their lives.
After working with teens, adults, families, and couples, I’ve learned that directness, authenticity, and honesty goes a long way, so this tends to be my approach to therapy. With me, you can expect honesty because my deepest desire is to see you thrive and live the life God desires for you.
