I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Virginia. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida and my Master's Degree from Adelphi University in New York. I have been in this field for 15 years and in private practice for 13 years. I specialize in anxiety, am currently writing a book on it, and am fiercely passionate about how readily clients can create the changes they desire.
Having transcended my own anxiety and depression, I am able to speak from experience and not just theory. Additionally, I have developed the skill of turning theory into application so that clients know exactly what they need to commit to in terms of change (and it's not as much as you think!).
I have a lot of experience working with men and women in the armed forces or the police force. I also have a lot of experience working amongst faith-based or spiritually oriented populations. I'm happy to be an open book (especially considering that's what I'm asking of you).
